Project Area
This component will be implemented in the Tsunami affected Divisional Secretary’s divisions of Kuchchaveli, Town and Gravets, Kinniya, Muthur, Seruvila and Eachchilampattu (Verugal) of Trincomalee District.
Project Description
The Government of Sri Lanka and the Government of France have contributed Euro 73.6 Mn for the Trincomalee Integrated Infrastructure Programme to support a comprehensive approach to reconstruction and re-development of Trincomalee District. Utilization of this upto 31st December 2008

Objectives and Scope
Sub project of the Community Development Component will redesign and rebuild structures in Health, Education, Water Supply and Sanitation, Electricity, Irrigation, Rural Roads, Village and Community Infrastructure and Fishery sector.
Implementing Arrangement
Sub project proposal under the Community Development Component will be identified in consultation with the Beneficiaries, relevant Local heads of Departments, Divisional Secretaries, Provincial Heads of the Departments and NGOO.
The selection process and implementation strategy will be same as that of NECORD.
